Dear Mr. DeLaBarre:
Enclosed is an application for an export license (XSOU8754), recently received by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, for the export of 130 kilograms of depleted uranium bars for analysis of the uranium for penetrators at the Defense Research Agency in the United Kingdom.
Since tb4 material is for a non-nuclear end use..~t will not be covered by an agreement for cooperation.
Also, since Executive Branch views are not required, we will issue the license after.the required 15-day waiting period.
If you have any questions or comments regarding this application, please call me by December 16.
I will forward you a copy of the license when it is issued.
