On 1/15/99 at 1315, an infraction to the Classified Matter Plan was determined to have occurred in C-200 on 1/14/99 at 2015. The violation occurred l
when a Secunty Key Ring whch had been assigned to a Secunty Police Officer (SPO) on day shift 1/14/99 was discovered missing during an end of shift inventory. Attempts to contact the involved SPO were unsuccessfu however a search was conducted of this SPO's personallocker in C 200 j
and the Secunty Key Ring was located. No compromise of classifed information has occurred.
This event is being reported to the NRC as an infraction under 10CFR95.57(b) which states "Any infractions, losses, compromises or possible compromise of classified information or classified documents not falling within paragraph (a) of this section?
The NRC resident inspector has been notifed of this event.
