MAIN TRANSFORMER REPLACEMENT, INDIAN POINT 3 NUCLEAR POWER PLANT

Dear Dr. Murley:

This letter is to inform you that compensatory security measures will be in effect during the replacement of a Main Transformer at the Indian Point 3 Nuclear Power Plant.

It is expected that removal and installation of the Transformer will occur between July 1, 1986 and July 18, 1986. Compensatory details are described in the attachments to this letter which are being provided to Mr. Walter Martin, Physical Security Inspector for Indian Point 3.

The attachments to this letter contains information related to the Indian Point 3 Security Plan; therefore, we request that the attachments be protected in accordance with Title 10 Code of Federal Regulations Part 73.21.
