Vermont Yankee Update on Completion of Design Basis Document Develonment Pursuant to 10CFR 50.54(f)
Reference (b) provided an update of Vermont Yankee's efforts to accomplish the actions determined necessary to address reference (a).
This letter serves to inform the USNRC that on January 27,1999 Vermont Yankee completed generation of the twenty-three Design Basis Documents discussed in Reference (b). Vermont Yankee believes that this effort has provided added confidence and assurance that Vermont Yankee is operated within its design bases. Based on the success of this effort we have plans in place to generate additional topical and system design basis documents during 1999.
We will continue to update you on the status of our efforts as necessary. Should you have any questions or require additional details on our efforts, please contact my office.
