In the Matter okthe ) Docket Nos. 50-327 Tennessee Valley' Authority ) 50-328 In accordance with 10 CFR Part 50.90, we are enclosing 40 copies of a requested amendment to licenses DPR-77 and DPR-79, to change the technical specifications of Sequoyah Nuclear Plant units 1 and 2. The proposed changes are provided in enclosure 1. The justification for the proposed technical specification changes is provided in enclosure 2. A proposed determination of no significant hazards considerations is provided in enclosure 3.

Change No. 1 - This proposed change would delete Table 3.3-11, Fire Detection Instrumentation and provide NRC control in accordance with 10 CFR 50.59 and 50.71.

Change No. 2 - This proposed change would delete 24 hours2.777778e-4 days <br />0.00667 hours <br />3.968254e-5 weeks <br />9.132e-6 months <br /> of data acquisition after the Axial Flux Difference Monitor Alarm is restored to OPERABLE status.

Enclosed is a check for the $150 amendment appilcation fee required by 10 CFR 170.12.
