This refers to the inspection conducted by K. R. Naidu of this office on May 13, 1986, of your facility at Beaver, Pennsylvania and to the discussions of our findings with Mr. G. Dore and members of your staff at the conclusion of the inspection.
The purpose of this inspection was to obtain information on' the results of the tests performed on two molded case circuit breakers, type 22250 MW, which failed at the Peach Bottom and Limerick nuclear power stations, and to review the documentation supporting the Certificates of Conformances supplied by you with the breakers. Areas examined during the inspection and our findings are discussed in the enclosed report. Within these areas, the inspection consis-ted of an examination of procedu'res and representative records, interviews with personnel, and observations by the inspector.
In accorcance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's regulations, a ccpy of this letter and the enclosed inspection report will be placed in the NRC's Public Document Room.
