BWR Thermal-Hydraulic Instabilities (Generic Letter 94-02)
By letter dated September 9,1994, " Boston Edison Company Response to Generic Letter 94-02,"
Boston Edison committed to install and make operable the Boiling Water Owners Group Enhanced Option 1A thermal-hydraulic stability solution for Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station. This item appears as Pilgrim Long Term Program item #504, and was scheduled for completion by February 1,1999.
This letter informs the NRC that Enhanced Option 1 A hardware has been installed, and all operational requirements have been incorporated into PNPS procedures. Operational turnover occurred January 25,1999. Therefore, BWROG Enhanced Option 1 A is implemented for Pilgrim.
