PROVISIONAL OPERATING LICENSE NO DPR-45 COVER LETTER CORRECTION REQUEST

(1) DPC Letter, Taylor to Keppler, LAC-Il492 dated March 31, 1986.

It is respectfully requested, that the second and third to the last sentences of paragraph one, stating:
"The judgement at the time was that this was a reportable event."
"Later, investigation proved this initial conclusion to be unfounded." be stricken from the cover letter of Physical Security Event Report 86-05, LAC-Il492.
This portion does not apply to this specific event.
It was inappropriately inserted, as a result of copying the basic letter format of a prior reportable event.
Realizing the body of all cover letters, excluding unusual circumstances, are generically identical.
It is a practice of the Security Director to copy the letter formats of prior submitted cover letters. This facilitates in formulating a proper response in the time frames allocated.
A more concerted effort will be maintained in proof reading of all future correspondence.
Your understanding and cooperation in this matter is sincerely appreciated.
