Application for Amendment of Operating License dated April 25, 1986
Dear Mr. Thadani:
Revision of Application for Amendment of Heatup and Cooldown Limit Curves During conversations with the Omaha Public Power District on June 16 and 19, 1986, your staff questioned portions of the proposed Fort Calhoun Station Application for Amendment of Operating License, submitted to upgrade the heatup and cooldown limit curves for operation through 15 EFPY. As a result of these discussions, a revised submittal that includes the recommended changes is enclosed.
This submittal includes three (3) signed copies of the Affidavit, and forty (40) copies of the revised Technical Specifications (Attachment A), the discussion (Attachment B) and the formal response to each of the questions raised (Attachment C).
Please note that the shift prediction equation of the proposed Revision 2 to Regulatory Guide 1.99 was used for this revised submittal.
