TVA letter to NRC dated March 18, 1996 The purpose of this letter is to update TVA's schedule for resolution of NRC's concern regarding the nominal instrumentation trip setpoints for ESFAS instrumentation channels contained in the technical specifications (TSs).
The referenced letter includes TVA's plan for resolution of NRC's concern.
TVA proposed to include this resolution in the TS conversion effort for SON.
TVA will now address the resolution of this issue in a separate TS amendment request.
TVA plans to submit this TS amendment request to NRC by June 1998.
