Dear Sir:
l Mr. B. J. Youngblood's letter of May 2,1986 transmitted a copy of NUREG/CR-3954, "HECTR Analysis of Equipment Temperature Responses to Selected Hydrogen Burns in an Ice Condenser Containment". This letter requested that Duke provide comments regarding the relevance of the subject document to McGuire and Catawba.
Comments on a June, 1984 draft of NUREG/CR-3954 were previously provided, beginning on page 7.0-144, in Revision 12 to Duke Power Company's report, "An Analysis of Hydrogen Control Measures at McGuire Nuclear Station" which was transmitted by my J
letter of March 29, 1985.
We have no other comments at this time.
