Dear Sirs:
Enclosed is the Calvert Cliffs Safeguards Contingency Plan, Revision 5, and an information copy of the revised Physical Security Event Reporting procedure which was removed from the Contingency Plan and is now part of its Implementation procedures. These revisions incorporate the items noted in our initial response to the subject inspection report as well as other changes necessary to update the Contingency Plan. The changes made by this revision do not decrease the effectiveness of the plan and, therefore, are being submitted to Region I under the provisions of 10 CFR 50.54(P). Details of the changes made by this revision have been provided in an enclosures to this letter.
My staff and I are at your disposal should you have any questions regarding these changes.
