SUBJECT:
COMMISSIONERS' MEETING WITH NRC CONSULTANTS ON AS LOW AS PRACTICABLE (SECY-A-75-14), THURSDAY, MARCH 6, 1975, COMMISSIONERS' CONFERENCE ROOM, BETHESDA, MARYLAND SECY:SH At a Commissioners' Meeting with NRC Consultants on As Low As
-Practicable, the Commissioners and co.nsultants discussed the proposed Rule.
The principal issues were:
value of man-rem in dollars, per site versus per reactor, and the individual versus population at large.
The Commission provided the following guidance for revision of the proposed Rule:
(a) the dollar value per man-rem figure is to be deleted; and (b) additional emphasis should be given to the distinction between design objectives and dosages which individuals will actually

receive.
