Reference:
(1) 10CFR Part 50, Section 50.54(W)
Reference 1 sets forth requirements for property damage j
insurance which are applicable to the LACBWR, Dairyland Power Cooperative (DPC), as the licensee and owner of the facility, hereby assures the U.S.
Nuclear Regulatory Commission that any and all funds which might become payable to DPC under the terms and conditions of Policy Number N351 issued by the Arkwright-Boston Manufacturer's Insurance Company and the American Nuclear Insurer's Policy Number 5046 will be dedicated to.the purpose intended, namely, on-site post-accident recovery and clean-up.
The above statement constitutes a commitment by DPC that property damage insurance funds will not be diverted for other business purposes, but will be used solely for costs directly attributable to on-site post-accident recovery and clean-up, should the need arise.
