EAR STATION TRAINING AND QUALIFICATION PLAN PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVE /CRITERlON TASK: 18 - Conduct Hand-Held or Control Walk-Through Metal Detector Search DUTY ASSIGNMENT: Personnel Search Officer, Access Control Officer CONDITIONS: Section 2.3.9 to include the use of hand-held or walk-through metal detectors STANDARDS: The individual shall be able to adjust, test, and use hand-held detectors, or as ACO monitor the use of the hand-held detectors and control persons negotiating walk-through detectors, taking action according to site procedures upon finding any indication of detection of metal, including a weapon. Selected individuals shall be able to test the walk-through detectors.
