CHANGES TO THE FORT CALHOUN STATION RADIOLOGICAL EMERGENCY PLAN This letter achowledges receipt of your letter dated July 10,1997, which transmitted changes to the Radiological Emergency Plan for the Fort Calhoun Station submitted under the provisions of 10 CFR Part 50, Appendix E and 10 CFR 50.4(b)(5)(iii).
Based on your determination that the changes do not decrease the overall effectiveness of your emergency plan and that it continues to meet the standards of 10 CFR 50.47(b) and the requirements of Appendix E to Part 50, NRC approvalis not required. Our initial review of these changes indicates that they are in accordance with 10 CFR 50.54(q). Implementation of these changes will be subject to inspection to confirm t'ut they have not decreased the overall effectiveness of your emergency plan.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's regulations, a copy of this letter will be placed in the NRC Publa Document Room.
