CHANGES TO THE FORT CALHOUN STATION RADIOLOGICAL EMERGENCY PLAN This letter acknowledges receipt of your letter dated April 9,1997, which transmitted changes to the Radiological Emergency Plan for the Fort Calhoun Station submitted under the provisions of 10 CFR 50, Appendix E and 10 CFR 50.4(b)(5)(iii).
Based on your determination that the chenges do not decrease the overall effectiveness of your emergency plan, and that it continues to meet the standards of 10 CFR 50.47(b) and the requirements of Appendix E to Part 50, NRC approvalis not required. Our initial review of these changes indicates that they are in accordance with 10 CFR 50.54(q).
Implementation of these changes will be subject to inspection to confirm that they have not decreased the overall effectiveness of your emergency plan.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.700 of the Commission's regulations, a copy of this letter will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
