CHANGES TO THE FORT CALHOUN STATION RADIOLOGICAL EMERGENCY PLAN This letter acknowledges receipt of your "LIC-97-0090, Forwards Listed EPIP & RERP Changes for Plant.Epip FC-EPF-21 Revised to Change Map Indicating Replacement of Lagoon W/ Parking Lot & Also to Indicate Placement of 161kV & [[power source" contains a listed "[" character as part of the property label and has therefore been classified as invalid. Towers|letter dated May 22,1997]], which transmitted changes to the Radiological Emergency Plan for the Fort Calhoun Station submitted under the provisions of 10 CFR 50, Appendix E and 10 CFR 50.4(b)(5)(ill).
Based on your determination that the changes do not decrease the overall effectiveness of your emergency plan and that it continues to meet tha standards of 10 CFR 50.47(b) and the requirements of Appendix E to Part 50, NRC approval is not required. Our initial review of these changes indicates that they are in accordance with 10 CFR 50.54(q). Implementation of thesa changes will be subject to inspection to confirm that they have not decreased the overall effectiveness of your emergency plan.
in accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's regulations, a copy of this letter will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
