LICENSE RENEWAL APPLICATION - BATTELLE PACIFIC NORTHWEST LABORATORIES (SNM-942), TRANSMITTAL LETTER DATED APRIL 25, 1986 We have established a review schedule for the subject application. The major milestones in our review schedule include the following:
- 1. Completion of initial safety reviews 09/19/86
- 2. Site visit to be scheduled
- 3. Applicant response to NRC comments 10/31/86
- 4. Completion of final safety review 11/21/86
- 5. Draft safety evaluation report (SER) 12/19/86
- 6. Take licensing action 01/09/87 We would appreciate your comments and recommendations on the renewal _
application, including the scheduled inspection dates of the facility.
As the review progresses, we will contact you to coordinate specific activities, e.g., inspection participation, discussions with licensee of proposed license conditions, etc.
