with 10CFR50.54(p). The plan revision was approved and implemented on December 2,1998. This submittalis provided under affidavit per requirements of 10CFR50.
The Waterford 3 Plant Operations Review Committee has concluded that the changes to the Waterford 3 Physical Security Plan do not constitute a decrease in the safeguards effectiveness of the plan. The major change includes incorporation of the revised requirements of 10CFR73.55(d)(8), which deleted the need to change or rotate keys, locks, combinations, and related access control devices at least once every 12 months.
- contains safeguards information as defined by 10CFR73.21 and its disclosure to unauthorized individuals is prohibited by Section 147 of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended. We kindly request that it be withheld from public disclosure.
