CHANGES TO THE RIVER BEND EMERGENCY IMPLEMENTING PROCEDURES
Dear Mr. McGaha:
This letter acknowledges receipt of your letter dated June 20,1997, which transmitted Revision 9 to the River Bend Emergency implementing Procedure 2-001, " Classification of Emergencies,"
submitted under the provisions of 10 CFR 50, Appendix E, Seciton IV, Based on your determination that the changes do not decrease the effectiveness of your emergency plan and that it continues to meet the standards of 10 CFR 50.47(b) and the requirements of Appendix E to 10 CFR Part 50, NRC approvalis not required. implementation of these changes will be subject to inspection to confirm that they have not decreased the effectiveness of your emergency plan.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's regulations, a copy of this letter will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
