BAILEY 862 SOLID STATE LOGIC MODULE CONCERNS HOPE CREEK GENERATING STATION DOCKET NO. 50-354 Based upon various telecons and a meeting between representatives of Public Service Electric and Gas Company (PSE&G) and the NRC concerning testability of the Bailey 862 Solid State Logic Modules (SSLM), PSE&G commits to provide the NRC the following information.
1.
Complete listing of those Bailey 862 SSLMs which are surveilled in accerdance with Hope Creek Technical Specifications.
2.
Description of the Technical Specification surveillance testing performed on the Bailey 863 SSLMs.
This description will include simplified schematics and a discussion pertaining to overlap testing of affected modules.
3.
Description of the options available to perform in-situ surveillance testing at power, of the Technical Specification surveilled Bailey 862 SSLMs.
4.
Description of the impact associated with performing the surveillance testing outlined in item 3.
