Dear Mr. Chappell:
in conjunction with the reference notification letter from VECTRA Technologies, Inc., Transnuclear, Inc.
(TN) hereby requests transfer of Certificate of Compliance (COC) 71-9184 from VECTRA Technologies, Inc. to Packaging Technology, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of TN.
In accordance with the regulatory requirements applicable to certificate transfer, TN accepts the responsibility for the complcteness and accuracy of the statements and representations in the Safety Analysis Report for the PAS 1 Cask. In addition, Packaging Technology, Inc. will be responsible for maintenance of the COC, the SAR and tha existing quality assurance records. Packaging Technology's Quality Assurance Program is NRC approved (Ref Docket 71-0678, Expiration date September,1999).
