Nos. DPR 53, DPR-69, and SNM-2505 Reference (a) approves the transfer of the licenses for Calvert Cliffs Units 1 and 2 and the Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation from Baltimore Gas and Electric Company to Constellation Energy Corporation, pending the completion of the proposed merger between Baltimore Gas and Electric Company and Potomac Electric Power Company. We are informing you that on December 19,1997, we mutually agreed to terminate the proposed merger. Therefore, we request that the order approving the transfer oflicenses be cancelled. Additionally, Reference (b) requested a license amendment that would reflect the new company ownership of Calvert Cliffs Units 1 and 2 and he Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation. We a.e withdrawing the requested license amendments.
