Dear Mr. Wood:
' On Novembei 10,1997, the NRC completed an inspection at the 09vis-Besse site. The
enclosed repon presents the results of that inspection.
Good overall performance was noted in all functional areas. Tht excellent material condition of
the plant minimized the challenges and burdens to operators. Additionally, plant performance
during an emergency diesel generator outage was very good.
No violations of NRC requirements were identified during this inspection period.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter and its
enclosures will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
