In summary, five cases were completed, fivs new license applications or amendment requests were received, and 32 cases were perding as of December 31.
We understand that most of the pending cases listed in the report are awaiting receipt by the Executive Branch of foreign govemment assurances as required by the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended by the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Act of 1978.
