Dear Ms. Hodges:
As you requested, enclosed are pictures that Mr. Ryder took when he was et your facility on September 17,1997. Also enclosed is a contact sheet. If there are any photographs, including negatives, that you would prefer he not keep, please so indicate within the next 30 days and Mr. Ryder will retum them to you. A note for you to check what you wish be dc,ne with the photographs and a business envelope are enclosed for your convenience.
Mr. Ryder does not intend to publish any of the photographs. However, any photographs retained by Mr. Ryder will be treated as public documents and copies may be provided to members of the public upon their request. As he discussed with Mr. Koozer, he copies of ph*)tographs that are retained by Mr. Ryder will be provided to James Yusko, Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection, who participated in September 17,1997, visit. In addition, copies of the photographs will be provided to Martha Dibblee, who also participated in the visit. Copies will not be provided until we hear from you.
Thank you and Mr. Koozer and the other people who talked to Mr. Ryder during the shutdown. He was told that the shutdown was a quiet one. Now, he can begin to appreciate the activity of maintaining a paper mill. if you have any questions, please contact Mr. Ryder at (301) 415-6102.
