Dear Mr. Weber:
Subject:
MERF Amendment Request (TAC No. L30986)
Ref:
Letter, M.F. Weber to L.J. Maas, " Adequacy.of Siemens Power Corporation Licensing Submittals," dated November 4,199/'
In the referenced letter you requested a formal supplement to Siemens Power Ct poration's 1SPC's) MERF amendment request to correct the material of construction of the HVAC ductwork. In the course of conversations between SPC staff members and those of the NRC Licensing Branch reviewing this request, SPC verbally conveyed the information that the -
ductwork would be steel (galvanized on the supply side and stainless on the exhaust side) instead of PVC. _ As you requested, SPC herein formally conveys that information.
Information on the other three amendment applications mentioned in the referenced letter will ce supplied when available. SPC also expects to address the other points made in the letter in the near future.
Very truly yours, h
J me
