Waterford 3 SES Docket No. 50-382 License No NPF-38 Confirmation of Commitment Regarding Revising the Bomb Blast Analysis Related to the Vehicle Barrier _ System Gentlemen:
In your letter dated October 24,1997, you requested that we confirm a regulatory commitment made to the NRC at the Yahicle Barrier System Inspection exit meeting which was conducted on September 26,1997,- at Waterford 3. The exit meeting was lead by NRC Inspector Tom Dexter During that meeting, Waterford 3 committed to perform the following action:
0 Waterford 3 will revise the bomb blast analysis to identify protection requirements for vital equipment contained in the fuel handling building.
gp We anticipated that the revision to the bomb blast analysis will be completed by the end of the first quarter 1998.
