In Reference 1, USEC requested that the Seal Exhaust Pump Overflow amendment be issued with an effective date of January _ 15, 1999.
Commitment Number 3, included in the same correspondence, was made in anticipation of the requested amendment effective date. Due to continued efforts to resolve pertinent technical issues related to this amendment, NRC approval is still forthcoming. In order to maintain the necessary consistency between the Technical Safety Requirements (TSRs) and SAR, the commitment has been changed to reflect issuance of the revised SAR pages on or before the effective date of the amendment.
Should you have any questions related to this subject, please contact Mark Smith at (301) 564-3244.
Commitments contained in this submittal are identified in Enclosure 1.
