The attached " Program Manager's Periodic Report"(PMPR) documents the progress and financial status of the Center for Nuclear Waste Regulatory Analyses (CNWRA) for the period November 21-December 18,1998.

Its contents comply with the requirements of section F.1.5. of the referenced contract. A diskette containing the PMPR in Wordperfect 8 format is also enclosed.

Cost variance analyses are provided for the Division of Waste Management (D1035), Tank Waste Remediation System (J5164), Three Mile Island Unit 2 Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation (J5186), Dry Transfer l

System (J5206), Centralized Interim Storage Facility (D1035), Private Fuel Storage Facility (J5226),.and  ;

Savannah River Site Aluminum-Based Spent Fuel (J5210) Job Codes (JCs), as well as for composite spendmg  ;

on this contract. All variances are expressed with regard to the current operations plans. I During period 3, one new intermediate milestone was introduced as reflected in table 2. Foui . liverables were transmitted as indicated in table 3.
