In accordancs with your application dated September 29,1997, and pursuant to Section 70.38 of Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Materials License SNM 1873 for Watts Bar Nuclear Plant, Unit 2 is hereby Terminated. The fresh fuel storage area and associated activities that were originally authorized under SNM 1873 have been transferred under the operating license for Watts Bar Unit 1 (NPF 90).
Enclosed are copies of the Terminated Materials License SNM 1873 and the Safety Evaluation Report which includes the Categorical Exclusion.
