Dear Ms. Goss:
I would like to express my appreciation for a job well done by Mr. Megs Hepler at the Commission briefing on potassium lodido (Kl) held on November 5,1997. Mr. Hepler and his staff prepared for this briefing on short notice and effectively described Federal plans and policies regarding the voluntary use of Kl. As you know, the topic of Kl is a difficult one to discuss. Mr. Hepler's presentation was concise and effective. Both the Commission and senior NRC management commended Mr. Hopler for his presentation.
l look forward to continuing to work together as wa base in tha past to bring this issue t. a final resoletion.
Sincerely.
