AMENDMENT TO THE SECURITY PLAN GENTLEMEN:
Georgia Power Company hereby submits an amendment to the Plant Hatch Security Flan in accordance with 10 CFR 50.54 (p).
The revisions incorporated by this amendment are described in Enclosure 1.
As discussed with members of your staff in a meeting on April 14, 1986, this revision is intended to provide needed enhancements in the P1an during the interim period of preparation of the total rewrite of the Plan which is expected to be submitted by September,1986 The original of the amendment and five copies (Control Copies 2 through 6) are attached.
Since public disclosure of security information may jeopardize the safety of the facility, we request that the material submitted herewith be maintained as proprietary and withheld from public disclosure in accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR 2.70 (d) and 10 CFR 73.21.
James P. O'Reilly states that he is Senior Vice President of Georgia Power Company and is authorized to execute this oath on behalf of Georgia Power Company, and that to the best of his knowledge and belief the facts set forth in this letter are true.
