This refa to your application dated October 30, 1995, as supplemented August 21, 1997, requesting an amendment to Certificate of Compliance No. 9932 for the Model No. UC-609 package.

Provide :opies of the following drawings which were listed in Table 1 of your supplement dated August 12, 1997:

AAA77-104162, Rev. OC, e.
AAA77-104163, Rev. 00, and f.
AAA91-107485, Rev. OB.
2.
Identify all changes that have been madr to these drawings compared to the earlier versions of these drav'ngs that wsrs included in your October 30, 1995, submittal. Show that the changes do not affect the ability of the package to meet the requirements of 10 CFR Part 71.
3.
The application contains too many fcbrication drawings.
The drawings show many details and dimensions which are not important to safety.
The application should be revised to include a smaller number of engineerinn drawings that are suitable for reference in a Certificate of Complian, The drawings should show the general arrangement of the package, its principle features, and the design of safety related components. The drawings should contain the following information:
a.
dimensions and toleri.as important to safety, b.
materials of construction, c.
applicable codes or standards for fabrication of safety-related components, d.
size, type, and locasion of safety related welds and methods of nondestructive examination, e.
torque requirements for closure bolts and othat threaded devices, f.
total weight of the package, and g.
location of the tamper indication feature.
