CHANGES TO GRAND GULF NUCLEAR STATION EMERGENCY ACTION LEVELS
Dear Mr. Hagan:
This letter acknowledges receipt of your letter dated C,ecember 13,1996, which transmitted Emorgency Plan Procedure 10-S 01 1, ' Activation of the Emergency Plan,' Revision 101 (emergenc, action levels), submitted under the p'oyisions of 10 CFR 50, Appendix E, Section V.
Based on your apparent determination that tiie changes do not decrease the effectiveness of your emergency plan and that it continues to meet the standards of 10 CFR 50.47(b) and the requirements of Appendix E to 10 CFR Part 50, NRC approvalis not required. Implementation of these changes will be subject to iispection to confirm that they have not decreased the effectiveness of your emergency plan, in accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of tha Commission's regulations, a copy of this letter will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
