Dear Mr. Quillin:
We have reviswed the p osed revisions to Parts 1,4.7, and 10 to the Colorado Rules and Regulations Pertaining to diation Control, dated September 25,1997. The Nuclear Regulatory Commission's (b. C) review focused on those provisions of the Colorado rule that are required for compatibility o for health and safety under the new adequacy and compatibility policy statement approved by th Commission by Staff Requirements Memorandum dated June 30,1997. The NRC review neluded that the Colorado proposed revisions are consistent with the compatibility an ealth and safety categories of the new policy, except for one provision.
RH 7.26.3.2.2, which is equivalent to 10 FR 35.75 (c), states, "Using an occupancy father les.s than 0.25 at 1 meter." The term," father,"i sed instead of " factor." This appears to be a editorial error. However, Colorado propose evisions should be changed to the term, " factor."
