Dear Sir / Madam:

By letter dated December 11,1998, PECO Energy submitted revised emergency response l

implementing procedures for Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station (PBAPS), Units 2 and 3. In our letter, we indicated that a nLmber of the procedures were not submitted within 30 days of their revision as required by 10CFR50, Appendix E, due to an administrative oversight. As a result of an investigation into this incident, we identified one (1) additional procedure that we l

failed to submit within 30 days of its revision.

Accordingly, the following enclosed Emergency Response Procedure (ERP) for PBAPS, Units 2 and 3, was revised with an effective date of October 7,1998, and was not submitted within 30 l

days as required by 10CFR50, Appendix E. This letter provides the required notification of the revision to the above procedure. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
