Docket No. 72-22-lSFSI
Dear Administrative Judges:
The Staff of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission is filing today the following documents, copies of which are enclosed herewith: (1)"NRC Staffs Response to State of Utah's Request for Consideration of Late-Filed Contention GG," and (2)"NRC Staffs Response to State of Utah's
' Security Plan Contentions.' in light of the fact that the first document may contain proplietary information, and the second documeni may contain safeguards information, these documents are beiag filed and served in accordance with the Licensing Board's Orders of December 17, 1997, and January 12,1998.
The Staff anticipates that oral arguments concerning the State's Late-Filed Contention GG and the State's Security Plan Contentions, at the prehearing conference to be held during the week of January 26,1998, would likely involve the discussion of proprietary mformation so as to require an in camera session.
