REVIEW UF INTERFACE BETWEEN GENERAL ELECTRIC AND SOUTHERN NUCLEAR OPERATING COMPANY CONCERNING FUEL DESIGN INFORMATION
Dear Mr. Sumner:
The purpose of this letter is to announce the subject inspection. We have scheduled this inspection for the week of December 15, 1997.
The designated ins)ection team leader will be Mr. Curtis W. Rapp.
Please make arrangements witi your staff for the cognizant individual to contact Mr. Rapp and discuss the.insnection plans in more detail.
Mr. Rapp can be contacted at (404) 562-4674 or via E-mail at cwr10nrc. gov The inspection objective will be to assess the licensee / vendor interface between. and licensee evaluation of, fuel design information provided by General Electric.
Also, your implementation of the General Electric Owners Group Anticipated Transient Without SCRAh recommendations will be reviewed.
The insaection will be conducted using Inspection Procedure 92903.
"FOLLOWJP-ENGINEERING." and will involve a team of at least three inspectors.
