Operating License No. DPR-73 Docket No. 50-320 Core Stratification Sample Acquisition Safety Evaluation Report - Revision 4 Attached for your review and approval is Revision 4 to the Safety Evaluation Report (SER) for Core Stratification Sample Acquisition. This revision clarifies the restrictions imposed on limitations associated with drilling through the flow distributor, establishes the requirement for a water cleanup system to be operable during core boring and defines the borated flush water sources to be used. This revision also addresses the potential for leaving a section of drill casing within the Reactor Vessel, following sample operations, to facilitate future access to the lower core region.
Per the requirements of 10 CFR 170, an application fee of $150.00 is enclosed.
