NRC INSPECTION REPORT NO. 50 346/97014(DRS)
Dear Mr. Wood:
On October 23,1997, the NRC completed a follow-up inspection of your implementation of
10 CFR 50.65, " Requirements for Monitoring the Effectiveness of Maintenance at Nuclear
Power Plants," (the malrdenance rule) at the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station. The
enclosed report presents the results of that inspection.
No violations of NRC requirements were identified. We concluded that your corrective actions
were acceptable and were properly implemented.
in accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter and its
enclosure will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
