The Chairman has sent the first Annual Report to Congress on the gaseous diffusion plants, as required by the Energy Policy Act of 1992. The report discusses the status of health, safety, and environmental conditions at the plants located near Paducah, Kentucky, and Portsmouth, Ohio, for the period from March 3,1997, to September 30,1997.
