L On December 16,1o07, the NRC completed an inspection at your Zion 1 and 2 reactor facilities.

The encioned report presents the results of that inspection.

! During this inspection period, your staffs performance was aGain inooneistent operations

in addition, we are concemed about five violations of NRC requirements that were identined. l

The Arst violation involves the failure to provide =g+ep,':' proceduial guidance to the operators

for splitung the service weier header for ma6ntenance and for performing cordainmord isolation

testing. The second violauen involves the failure to make a timely NRC notinoauon for an . *

inoperable containmord penetration line. The third violation pertains to the failure a electricians

. to follow a maintenance procedure which resulted in an inadverterd actuation of engineered f

safety feature equipmerd. The fourth violation pertains to a failure to specify and perform post- /  :

maintenance testing for the replacement of a safeguards relay. The finh violation involves the  ;

failure to maintain a control room ventilation system desl0n drawing ounced whh the so-buiN pierd

. design. Ahhough sevwal of these violations wwe licensee-idenoned or self evident, they are

being cited due to their repeutive nature at Zion Station. ]
