l IA No.: NRC-10-96-162 Modification No. 2 Page 2 of 3 The purpose of this modification is to (1) exercise optioa Year 1, thereby increasing the period of performance for an additiosal 12 months, (2) increase the Agreement's total estimated amount uy

$35,500 from $53,000 to $83,500, (3) obligate $30,000, thereby increasing the obligated amount from $53,000.0.0 to $83,000.00, (4) change the name and the address of the Project Officer, and (5) provide accounting data Option Year 1 for billing purposes.

Accordingly, this Agreement is hereby modified as follows:

1.

Article V, " Level of Effort and Period of Performance, is deleted in its entirety and substituted with the following in lieu thereof:

"This Interagency Agreement shall commence on 9/20/96 and expire on 9/19/98, with three additional one year options.

The Scope of Work set forth in Artice I, and the period of performance may be increased as mutually agreed upon by both parties.

Any changes shall be incorporated into this Agreement by the issuance of a negotiated modification by the NRC Contracting Officer."

Under Article VII, " Payment," add the following accounting data for funds obligated to exercise Option Year 1.

Therefore, the third paragraph of this section is deleted and substituted with the following in lieu thereof:

" Requests for payment MUST cite the following accounting data for the appropriate Agreement year:

Article VIII entitled " Estimated Amount," first sentence, DELETE the amount of "$53,000.00" and REPLACE with

"$83,500.00.

Article IX entitled " Obligation of Funds," the first sentence is deleted in ito entirety and substituted with the following in lieu thereof:

"The amount presently obligated with respect to this Agreement is $83,000.00."
