= Region 11 will host its annual Training Managers' Conference in Atlanta, Georgia, from 8:00 am to 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 12,1997, and from 8:00 a.m. to noon on Thursday,

. Nuvember 13,1997. The conference is designed to inform regional operations and training -

management of issues and policies that affect the licensing of reactor plant operators.

I would like to extend an invitation to you, and to members of your operations and training staff,

- to attend this conference. Our goal for the meeting is to provide an open forum for discussion of operator licensing issues. The site for this year's conference will be in the Atlanta Federal Center (AFC),61 Forsyth Street, AFC Bridge Conference Room B,in downtown Atlanta. For your convenience, directions and a map of the area are noted in Enclosure 1,

-We encourage you to submit, via telephone, a list of topics which you would like to have discussed. Additic.nally, Enclosure 2 is the current schedule for examinations through 1999 for,
