llope Creek Generating Station Docket Nos. 50-354 License Change Request ! R 3197-17 Cross Tie Valve Surveillance Public Service Electric and Gas Company submitted the subject change request to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission on September 24,1997. The proposed amendment would change Technical Specification Section 3/4.5.1, "ECCS - Operating," by adding a requirement to perfomt a surveillance of valves that provide a cross tie between different loops of the Residual Heat Removal System.
The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection's Bureau of Nuclear Engineering reviewed the above request in accordance with the requirements of 10 CFR 50.91(b) l and has no comments on this proposed change.
