PROTEST AT THE TM1 NORTH AND SOUTH GATES At approximately 10:00 AM, on May 18, 1933, seven demonstrators at the TM1 Nuclear 4Wer Station North Gate and three demonstrators at the TM! South Gate positioned themselves with a long banner at each gates to block access to the Island. They are apparently protesting issues related to the recent U.S. Supreme Court decision on the

tycholcgical stress. The licensee has closed both accesses to the site. The licensee is seeking a court injunction against the demonstrators. In addition, GPUN has asked fer assistance from Pennsylvania State Police to remove the protesters from company troperty. Pennsylvania State Police arrived at 10:30 AM and at 11:30 AM began to make arrests.

Media interest has occurred and local TV station crews are present at both gates. The licensee is in the process of issuing a press release at this time. The Cornonwealth of P ylvania was informed.
