Dear Dr. Price:
The enclosed hand-marked drawings and bound handout were provided to the NRC by Parsons 1-Power Group Inc. (Parsons) during an October 3,1997, publicly observed meeting at Parson's Reading, PA offices. The purpose of the meeting was for Parsons to outline the system boundaries for the Emergency Diesel Generator and the Enclosure Building Filtration (including Containment and Enclosure Building Purge System) systems to the NRC staff. These systems are being reviewed by Parsons as part of the Independent Corrective Action Verification Program (ICAVP) required by an August 14,1996, Confirmatory Order for the Millstone Nuclear Power Station.
To enable the public to have access to these drawings and the bound handout, I request that the enclosed drawings and handout be made available for public use at the Learning Resource Center of Three Rivers Community Technical College. Because of the size of the drawings and the hand-marked color coding of the drawings, the drawings are not suitable for reproduction in a microfiche or aperture card format. The drawings are color coded to represent those portions of the system that are within the boundary of the system review (portions colored blue). The interface with other systems with the primary system under review have been annotated on the enclosed drawings with the type of interface as described in the enclosed handout. Your assistance in making these documents available for public review is appreciated.
