Enclosed is an application for an export license (XSNM3022), receialy received
- by the Nuclear Regulclory Commission, for the export of low-enriched uranium, in the form of uranium dioxide pellets in completed fuel assemblies, to Brazil for use as a replacement core and reload fuel in Angra Unit 1.
Assurances from Brazil are required that the material will be subject to all of the terms and conditions of an agreement for cooperation.
Your assistance in obtaining the necessary assurances will be appreciated.
Please note that the applicant has requested expedited processing of this request.
